Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Robert travelled to Potarch along with Nick Best, Eddie Hall & Brian shaw to record an episode of The Strongest Man in History, a series created by the History Channel. Robert attempted to carry the stones across the bridge at Potarch without setting them down and managed a distance of 2 feet 8 inches. Robert's lift was witnessed by Stevie Shanks, Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Helen Knowles, Malcolm Nicol & the large crowd of spectators, lifters and film crew in attendance.
